VOLUNTEERING

EARS is fortunate to have a handful of truly dedicated volunteers. While our donkeys are well cared for by Penny and her team, our organisation could use volunteers with specific skills like fundraising, retail and education.

FUNDRAISING

As a non-profit organisation, EARS relies solely on donations to fund its rescue and rehabilitation work. Our charity shop in Main Road, Greyton would love your secondhand stuff, you could adopt a donkey for R1200 a year or you could raise funds on our behalf, whether through a sponsored cycle ride, a cake sale, a raffle, collecting clothes and bric a brac for our shop, or any other means.

BE OUR EYES & EARS

We’re a small organisation with only a handful of volunteers but we do our best for the  donkeys in Greyton and the other five villages in our valley. Unfortunately we can’t get to everything but if you see neglect, cruelty or anything that might harm a donkey you can help us by taking a photo and noting the time and location of the incident.
